You know that most Realtors are football fans when there are only 269 open houses posted this 
weekend across the state. Generally a low number of open houses are held on Super Bowl Sunday but the fact that the Patriots are playing, against the Giants no less, has further dampened activity. Of course kick off isn't till 6:30pm so there would still be plenty of time to hold a couple open houses with enough time to crawl back into the recliner prior to the start of the game. Of course you would miss the pre-game party.
There are 50 open houses being held this week that are new to market, so despite the "Super Bowl Effect" there are still plenty of fresh options for hopeful buyers to check out.
